This city is a jewel of a destination as the Potala Palace, the former residence of the Dalai Lama is a major attraction of this city. You will also find numerous important temples and monasteries and even the world’s highest brewery. Your first view of the red and white Potala palace soaring above the Holy city raises goosebumps and the charming whitewashed old Tibetan quarter continues to preserve the essence of traditional Tibetan life. Another important tourist destination is Nepal where you will visit the Kathamndu valley. You can easily explore the highlight of Kathmandu valley in Nepal. One can visit UNESCO heritage listed Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Buddhist stupa of Bouddhanath and Swoyambhunath temple and many other exciting places.   • Day 01

    Arrival at Kathmandu:

    This will be the first day of our trekking journey. After landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be transferred to our hotel via private vehicle. We will rest for some time and then begin the sightseeing of the capital city of our country. At evening, you will be welcomed with a typical Nepali food at a typical Nepali restaurant.   • Day 02

    Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley:

    After an early morning breakfast, you will do the sightseeing of some of the famous places of Kathmandu valley. You will be transferred to many places of Kathmandu with our private vehicle which includes Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambunath Stupa, Bouddanath Stupa and other many famous places of Kathmandu. At evening, you will meet your fellow trekking mates and then we will have a short briefing about the journey in our office. An evening stroll at Thamel and Durbarmarg will give you much energy which will help you at the trek. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 03

    Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa:

    After an early morning breakfast, we will take a scenic flight to Lhasa. This flight will give you an opportunity to view the awesome views of Himalayan ranges from the aircraft. After reaching Lhasa, our Tibetan guide will welcome and greet you in the Lhasa Airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel. You can stroll in the nearby streets and do the sightseeing. Overnight at Lhasa.

  • Day 04

    Sightseeing of Lhasa:

    Today, we will spend our incredible day visiting several monasteries of Lhasa with our professional guide. The first monastery you will visit is the Sera Monastery, also known as the monastery of wild roses is a well-preserved monastery in Tibet that has white-washed walls and golden roofs. After lunch, you will have a visit to the Norbulingka Palace, also known as “The Jeweled Park” a summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Then we will visit to the Jokhang Temple which is one of the most sacred shrines in Tibet. Surrounding the Jokhang temple is the Barkhor street- an ancient and cultural maze of narrow cobbled streets that is the central market of Lhasa. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 05

    Sightseeing of Lhasa:

    This is the day when we will visit the famous Potala Palace in the morning. It is a palace that dominates the city of Lhasa. It is a spectacular building containing private quarters of the Dalai. There has always been a palace since the 5th or the 6th century here, but the present palace was constructed in the 17th century. After lunch, you shall visit the Drepung Monastery founded in the 14th century which is used to be one of the largest monasteries in the world with a population of 10,000 monks. These days, the number has fallen down to a hundred. Overnight at Lhasa.

  • Day 06

    Flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu:

    We will today take a flight back to Kathmandu and then freely rest in our hotel. We will then stroll in the local streets of Thamel and Durbarmarg where you can observe the local cultures and huge masses of people. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 07

    Fly to Paro International Airport:

    After the sightseeing of Kathmandu valley, we will fly to Bhutan via Tribhuvan International Airport and reach Paro. One can get an opportunity to view the spectacular views of mountain ranges and different dramatic landscapes from the aircraft. On arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will welcome and greet you in the Paro International airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel. We will have our lunch and then do the sightseeing of Paro which includes the famous Ta Dzong Museum, arts, architectures and the ancient streets of Paro. You will also visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang (The oldest temple of Bhutan), Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort) and other many beautiful places. In the evening you will explore Paro town and come back at the hotel to relax.

  • Day 08

    Paro to Thimpu Drive:

    A short and scenic 2hrs drive from Paro will take us to Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan which has lots of beautiful and ancient things to offer to the visitors. We will enjoy a full day by doing the sightseeing of this beautiful city which includes the sightseeing of National Memorial Chorten, National Textile Museum, the Folk Heritage Museum, School of Traditional Painting of Arts and Crafts and other many beautiful places. You will also get an opportunity to explore and take a tour of king’s administrative building known as Tasicho Dzong. You will also visit the National Library where you will get an opportunity to explore the ancient Bhutanese arts, architectures and scriptures. Other major attractions of Thimpu are the Traditional Paper Factory, ancient medieval farmhouses, Folk Heritage museum and at the evening you will get an awesome opportunity to explore the streets of Thimpu. Overnight at Thimpu.

  • Day 09

    Thimpu to Punakha and Wangdi Phodrong:

    We will have our breakfast early in the morning and then do the sightseeing of Thimpu again. We now visit the National Library, Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute and other left palces of Thimpu. After the sightseeing we will cross the Dochula Pass and reach Punakha, which is the home of the eastern Himalayas and offers a great view of Himalayan ranges. Punakha, the old capital city of Bhutan, sits at the confluence of the “Mother: river and “Father” river in a sub-tropical valley. We will have a simple picnic at the Wangdi River and then continue to Eangdi Phidrong Dzong, the most picturesque place in all over the Bhutan.

  • Day 10

    Trek to Phubjika:

    After breakfast, we will start our day with an easy stroll through the rice fields to visit Chime Lhakhang, a local temple perched on a hill above a traditional village. We will then pass the dense forests of Oak and Rhododendron trees to reach Gangtey, also known as Phubjika. This place is a home of the rare black-necked cranes that fly over Tibet in winter. You will then explore the beautiful Phunjika valley and also visit Gangtey Monastery, the only Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan.

  • Day 11

    Gangtey to Paro:

    After exploring the beautiful Gangtey valley, we will today leave Gangtey and drive back to Paro which takes about 4-5 hours. We will visit the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest one in Bhutan and the capital city of Bhutan, Thimpu in the route to Paro.

  • Day 12

    Sightseeing Paro-Visit Takstang monastery (Tiger’s nest)

    We will today drive through the Paro Valley to see the Drugyal Dzong/Kichu Lhakhang. After sightseeing of Paro, we will hike to one of the major attractions of Bhutan, The Tiger’s nest also known as Takstang monastery. Takstang is the most famous monastery of Bhutan which is craved with an ancient supernatural story. The hike from Paro to this ancient monastery will take about 1 and half hours where you will enjoy the superb views of the monastery hanging in the cliff. You will also get an opportunity to visit the 200 years old Watch Tower (Ta Dzong). After the sightseeing, we will trek back to APro and visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples constructed by Tibetan king Songtsen Gompa. At evening you will have a farewell dinner at Paro and overnight at Paro.

  • Day 13

    Fly back to Kathmandu:

    We will today take a scenic flight and come back to Kathmandu. We will then rest at our hotel and then do the sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. We will stroll in the local streets of Kathmandu and have some fun. Overnight at Kathmandu.

  • Day 14

    Sightseeing of Bhaktapur and Patan:

    You will have a tour of Bhaktapur and Patan today. Bhaktapur located about 20km east from Kathmandu is also called the city of devotees, city of culture, living heritage and Nepal Culture’s gem and is surrounded by mountains that provide a magnificent view of the Himalaya. Patan is called the city of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statue. One can experience true arts, crafts, monuments and handmade designs in this historic city. The most important monument of the city is The Patan Durbar Square which has been listed by UNESCO as one of the seventh monument zones that make up Kathmandu valley as The World Heritage Site. Other famous places to visit in Patan are Krishna Mandir, Patan museum, Jawalakhel, Mangalbazar, Kumaripati, Bungmati, Kumari Temple, Patan Dhoka, Machchendra Nath Temple and many other historical places

  • Day 15

    Departure Day:

    The trip concludes today. Our airport representative will drop you at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal. Breakfast included.
