Kailsah Heli tour is so far one of the best Heli tours of the world which offers the best views of mountain ranges and one can also see the unique and fascinating landscapes from the aircraft. If you are interested to go near Mt. Kailash and view the adobe of Lord Shiva and at the same time you don’t have enough time to spend, then the Kailash Helicopter Tour is the best option for you. The helicopter tour doesn’t mean that we take you direct to Mansarovar and Kailash by helicopter. Tibetan government don’t allow any aircraft to fly over their land, after crossing the border, a vehicle will take us up to Mansarovar and bring us back again at the border side and then we will fly back to Nepalgunj.
According to Hindu legend, a person who crosses the Kailash Kora once, all his sins are gone away. Going around Mt. Kailash 108 times means that one is directly receiving Nirvana (freedom). According to the description of Ramayana, one who takes bath in Mansarovar Lake reaches Bramalok (heaven); whereas the one drinking the water from Kailash knows the world of Shivalok (Shivas abode). It is considered holy center of universe among both Hindu and Buddhist religious group. Kailash Helicopter Tour is also an alternative of Kailash Mansarovar Tour. Kailash Helicopter Tour offers you the superb view of Holy Kailash, Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho Oyu, Tibet Potala palace, Jhokang temple, Holy Mansarovar lake, Kailash Kora & beautiful landscape of Tibet.
Kailash Helicopter starts and ends at Kathmandu from where we will fly to Nepalgunj and then to Simikot through an aircraft of Nepal. After that we will take a chartered flight to Hilsa, near Tibet, from where a vehicle will take us to Mansarovar. As soon as you reach up to Mansarovar, also known as the valley of god, Yamadwar, you can see a very clear view of Mt. Kailash. After that we start hiking to complete the KORA at Mt. Kailash which takes 3 days. After the KORA trip, we again join our overland and drive back to the border and catch the flight and come back to our starting point, Kathmandu where we will end our tour.
